Leeds Preview

Town travel up the road to Elland Road on Saturday for a 12.15 k.o against bitter rivals Leeds. This will be Gerry Murphys first league game for Town this time round and it wont be easy as Leeds are flying high in 3rd place at the moment. There is expected to be around 30,000 fans there on Saturday.

Past meeting between the sides havent come to often but when they have Town have been more succesful with 25 wins being superior to Leeds 22 wins. Also 17 of the games have ended level. But Town have only won 9 times at Elland Road whilst Leeds have won 17 times the most recent last season as they beat Town by 4 goals to 0. Whilst Town's latest win against Leeds was at the Galpharm last season as Andy Holdsworth headed past United keeper to win the game 1-0 for the Terriers.

Liam Dickinson might play his last game for Town on Saturday as his loan is running out very shortly and this could be the last time we see him in a Blue and White shirt unless we can loan him again. Town are without influential Andy Booth and Michael Flynn who are still both injured.

Leeds young sensation Fabian Delph is set to start again. The young midfielder has attracted attention from Premiership clubs such as Newcastle and Arsenal due to his performances this season. He has scored 3 goals in 12 games this season. The Leeds star is already a key part to England under 19's and seems to be making impact in the Under 21's aswell. Who knows he might be playing for England in the short future.
